9th Grand Prix du Design . Event design and ephemeral installations . Winner (2016)

As part of S.P.O.T. – « Sympathique Place Ouverte à Tous », a festive architectural event created by students at Laval University’s School of Architecture, ADHOC teamed up with the students to create the canopy that covered the event’s parterre. By day, Vol-au-vent creates a soft, foliage-like shade. The canopy, made up of over a thousand reflective film windsocks, comes alive with the rhythm of the wind. At nightfall, when the big kids invade the square, the installation transforms to create a fairground atmosphere, reflecting the stage lights and twinkling in the sky.
