Islet SALVATION is an opportunity for cohabitation. It’s a dialogue between a residential complex, a hotel complex and offices. This dense, complementary cohabitation offers the opportunity to live differently and together in the heart of Griffintown. Two new volumes with distinct programs are erected, facing Richmond Street at the rear of the site occupied by the Salvation Army Building. The two Buildings are in both tension and dialogue, with a similar yet contrasting architectural treatment. At their heart, an open forecourt links the uses of each of them, while creating a strong relationship with the street and its users.
