LIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN 2 features 14 townhouses in an exceptional area at the foot of Mont St-Bruno. From a central driveway, two series of houses face each other. Their monolithic form seems ideally suited to a project integrating close to a mountainous landscape. The sculpted, angular volumes, like boulders, impose themselves on the site and become attractive objects. Angles also break the monotony that could result from a series of identical, contiguous houses. This multiplies viewing angles and ways of discovering the project, and minimizes the need to face each other. The two houses facing the street are given special treatment, to create an open relationship with the public space.
