The project involves extending and converting the former All Nations Church (previously used for commercial purposes) into a residential property. The building extension is built on a vacant lot overlooking Atateken Street. Le Carré des Arts is an environmentally-friendly addition that takes into account the socio-cultural values of the local community. Indeed, the project was presented and publicly discussed at a public hearing held in summer 2015, during which stakeholders appreciated the emphasis placed on preserving and enhancing the site’s heritage, as well as the project’s architectural qualities.
