LOCATION 35 rue Laurier, Gatineau
Downtown Gatineau is facing major challenges related to urban densification, the housing crisis and the revitalization of its spaces. The 35 Laurier redevelopment project is part of this dynamic, proposing an ambitious multifunctional project combining 610 housing units with commercial and community spaces open to the neighborhood.
Located in the heart of downtown, opposite the Canadian Museum of History and close to the region’s main employment hub, this project optimizes an underutilized site and promotes sustainable urban living. Its strategic location offers easy access to public transport, shops, services and green spaces.
Designed according to the principles of compact neighborhoods and short distances, the project emphasizes pedestrian connectivity, mixed uses and distinctive architecture. It acts as a genuine catalyst for the revitalization of the downtown area, contributing to its liveliness, resilience and regional influence.
