The recommended approach respects the distinctive characteristics of Old Quebec: rhythm, alignment and proportions of openings and materiality. It also preserves traditional architectural templates while enhancing them with contemporary details and improving the pedestrian experience by creating attractive public spaces. To attract new residents (families and young professionals), the project includes high-quality retail and residential units with abundant light and panoramic views, as well as a verdant inner courtyard offering an oasis in an urban environment.
