Winner (2016)  As part of S.P.O.T. \u2013 \u00ab\u00a0Sympathique Place Ouverte \u00e0 Tous\u00a0\u00bb, a festive architectural event created by students at Laval University\u2019s School of Architecture, ADHOC teamed up with the students to create the canopy that covered the event\u2019s parterre. By day, Vol-au-vent creates a soft, foliage-like shade. The canopy, made up of over a thousand reflective film windsocks, comes alive with the rhythm of the wind. At nightfall, when the big kids invade the square, the installation transforms to create a fairground atmosphere, reflecting the stage lights and twinkling in the sky.
